Ever get the feeling that we’ve completely paved over everything? I can only imagine what Calgary was like before our descendants arrived on the scene.

Walking down most city streets, it seems like all I can see on the ground is pavement, cement, bricks, maybe some grass, and even more pavement. Do we really need so much pavement?
